 Trophy Outlet FAQ’S and Answers



  • How much does engraving cost?

    • Engraving is FREE on all trophy awards and plaques at the Trophy Outlet.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    • Shipping is determined by the weight and size of the awards. Shipping will be calculated at checkout, and you will be given real-time UPS quotes.

  • When will my items arrive?

    • We ship all in-stock orders within 2 business days. Shipping time will depend on your location and zip code. We ship out all packages via UPS.

  • How do I add items to the order that I already placed?

    • You have two options. First, you can give us a call and we will get the items added to your order. Alternately, you can place a second order for the new items and explain in the notes section that you want to add the items to order #______ . We will pair up the orders.

  • How many lines of engraving can I have?

    • We recommend that you stick with a maximum of 3 lines and 40 characters, however we do not limit you. The more you add to the engraving, the smaller the wording will be.

  • I received my order and an item was broken/missing. What do I do?

    • Please call and we will get you a replacement part or the missing pieces sent to you right away.

  • What do I do if I need to cancel my order?

    • Call 866-282-0847 and one of our customer service representatives will assist you in canceling your order.

  • What do I do if I would like to return my order?

    • Please call 866-282-0847 and one of our team members will assist you in getting your items returned. Please have your order number and the email address associated with your account. You must contact us within 72 hours of receiving delivery of your package.

  • How do I track my order?

    • You will receive an automated email -- which includes the tracking number and information -- once your order has shipped. If you have not received this email, please contact us at 866-282-0847 and we will gladly send you the information.

  • What payment methods does the Trophy Outlet accept?

    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal. We can also accept American Express, but you must call with the payment information.

  • Why was my credit/debit card declined?

    • The most common reasons for a card getting declined are: incorrect billing address, incorrect card number, incorrect expiration date, or an incorrect validation code. Also check the daily spending limit of your card. If all of this information is correct, please give us a call and we will assist you.

  • How do I place an APO/FPO order?

    • Please call and talk to one of our team members at 866-282-0847.

  • How do I submit my artwork or engraving?

    • When you add items to your cart, you’ll notice a section for uploading a file. You can either download a file to the order, or can email it to us at: orders@trophyoutlet.com or sales@trophyoutlet.com. Please reference the order number when emailing your engraving or artwork.

  • I want you to design my logo/artwork. What do I do?

    • Call us at 866-282-0847 and one of our experienced artwork experts will assist you in building your artwork for you.

  • What is trim on a trophy?

    • Typically the trim on a trophy is 1ST place, 2ND place, 3RD place, or year. It is most commonly found in the center of the base at the bottom of the trophy, or on the side of a single-column trophy.

  • What is the figure on a trophy?

    • The figure is located at the very top of the trophy. There are many selections for you to choose from.

  • I want a different figure than what you offer. What can I do?

    • On each trophy page, you’ll find a link -- located in the description -- that takes you to a page with several figure options. Simply select the button that reads, “Yes I want to choose a different figure option,” and insert your desired figure description. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us and we will look at some custom options to fit your needs.

  • What is a 3- or 4-column trophy?

    • The number refers to the number of columns (pillars) there are used to make up the trophy.

  • What are the columns on a trophy?

    • The columns on a trophy are the colored tubes that comprise the upright sections.

  • What is a trophy set?

    • A trophy set is unique to the Trophy Outlet. We offer some of our trophy awards in a bundle (set) of 1ST -3RD place. This makes it easier for you to select a trophy “set” for your event. You can just pick one of our sets or you can make up your own in our Custom Trophies category.

  • What is a trophy KIT?

    • A trophy kit is a trophy that will be shipped with all of the necessary parts and components for assembly at your convenience. All trophy kits include detailed step-by-step instructions and a packing slip.

  • What is a partially assembled trophy?

    • Partially assembled trophy awards at the Trophy Outlet are assembled as much as possible to be shipped. Most trophies will come fully assembled, however some of our trophy awards are too tall to be shipped in their fully constructed form, and will therefore require you to attach a couple of pieces after your order arrives.

  • Where does my engraving go on my trophy?

    • This will depend on what trophy you ordered from the Trophy Outlet. Most engraving is placed on either the slanted portion of the base or in the square riser of the trophy.

  • What is a Mylar?

    • A Mylar is a 2-inch metal or sticker disc. The Mylar is placed on either the riser or figure in the 2-inch circle provided.
